Charlie was a professional actress for over twenty years before moving into teaching and directing at vocational drama schools such as Mountview, ALRA and The Arts Educational Schools, London. Her most recent full-time position was as Head of Acting on the Musical Theatre Course at Arts Ed, a post she held for six years before moving on to study for a master’s degree in Text and Performance at Birkbeck University.  She is currently a freelance acting tutor on the Contemporary and Devised Theatre course at Central School of Speech and Drama.

Charlie runs her own workshops as well as workshops for The Actors Centre. She offers individual 1-2-1 tutoring for professional and drama school auditions, and for anyone who wants to brush up their acting skills.
