“Talent isn’t enough, you’ve got to go put in the work” GARY VAYNERCHUK

Motivational media entrepreneur GARY VAYNERCHUK initially came to prominence after turning his family’s wine business from $3 million to $60 million, but it’s his fiercely direct self-help seminars and online videos that have garnered him a global audience in the millions.

His talks are very clearly geared towards people with ambitions in big business rather that arts but there is no question that the core principles apply equally well to a life trying to carve out an acting career.

This whole notion of “Where is the time?” I just think people are loaded with excuses

I think that the nation thinks they’re hustling but, straight to your face, I think 99.9 percent of you are not. Everybody has the time – stop watching fucking ‘LOST’!

There’s so many people giving up. I think the fear of losing trumps the excitement of victory for so many people.

For me hussle would be putting all your effort into achieving the goal at hand and for me that means making every minute count.

The bottom line is, every minute that you can apply to your game…you need to. People like to claim they work hard but working 9 to 6 is just not enough.

Your talent isn’t enough…you’ve got to go and put in the work.

Look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself “What do I want to do every single day for the rest of my life?” Then hustle your face off 15 hours a day to get people to care.

.

No excuses. Do it.
