Nothing else on this earth enables me to express or explore myself the way this art form does.

I’m a 26 year old ‘Actress‘. I quit my job, took the plunge, have an agent, and here I am.

When I say here I am, I mean I’m sat by the phone waiting for it to ring. It could be days, weeks potentially even months. But I’m still waiting. And people ask me why? And I can’t give them an answer that they will understand because they won’t.

Acting for me isn’t about the job, or the title. Its who I am. Its what I do. I feel it, I see it, everyday I am in it.

I have a deep rooted passion and love for this craft that keeps me grounded and keeps me going. Nothing else on this earth enables me to express or explore myself the way this art form does. Not everyone will understand this but I’m hoping a select few of you will. What I will say is don’t give in, don’t give up and most importantly don’t just act for the sake of acting. Act because you feel it, you believe in it and you are fully able to invest yourself into it.

There are millions of people with a passion like you, but only one you.

Lastly, never lose hope, stay grounded and don’t be afraid. The knock backs I recieve make me a wiser person. Have a little faith.
